Dr. Eric Prytula is a respected optometrist recognized for his strong clinical expertise and dedication to providing exceptional care. He offers everything from first-time pediatric eyewear evaluations to guiding adults through important eye health decisions, using modern diagnostic technology to ensure accurate and comprehensive assessments.

A Rhode Island native, Dr. Prytula graduated from the University of Rhode Island before earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. During his clinical training, he completed internships at the Newington, Connecticut and Las Vegas, Nevada VA Hospitals, where he gained extensive experience managing complex ocular conditions. These diverse clinical experiences strengthened his interest in ocular disease prevention and inspired his continued study of evolving treatment options.

Dr. Prytula believes that exceptional care begins with strong communication and a genuine connection. He is committed to helping patients understand their conditions and feel confident in their treatment plans.

Dr. Prytula resides in Saunderstown with his wife, Liane, their two sons, Eddie and Jamie, and their two dogs, Coda and Louie. Outside the office, he enjoys playing and coaching hockey with his sons, as well as golfing, hiking, and barbecuing on his smoker. A true New Englander, he is also a proud supporter of the Patriots.
